What Does “Love What You Have” Signify?

What Does “Love What You Have” Signify

Love is one of the most powerful emotions. Humans have a capability to love and express love in multiple ways. It is an emotion that keeps us close and happy. The quote ‘love what you have’ signifies that one should not be greedy and demand for more. One needs to have a control on their desire and learn the art of satisfaction in what they have got, because nothing is permanent. One day you have someone, and the next moment you don’t because life is unpredictable.

It is important for a person to learn the art of satisfaction as it can help one to be more humble and down to earth. To be satisfied in life one needs to learn to avoid putting their love in materialistic things and have more gratitude for things and people around them. One can do it by writing down things they feel they love and how they can express them before it’s too late. One of the most important things for a better life is to keep your family and friends close.

“Before Life Teaches You To Love What You Lost” Significance

Life is all about unexpected ups and downs. One needs to appreciate what they have in life. Life can give you something and take it in a minute. One needs to appreciate every single second, and take care of your loved ones. Time is limited and one needs to set priorities for whom they love before it’s too late. People nowadays only focus on materialistic things like money, car, property and leave out the most important thing, a human connection and a stable love.

People nowadays are materialistic instead of emotionally . Emotions make us humans. We need to learn to value our family and friends and all the small connections we make along the way. Everyone deserves respect and love. Being selfish only gets one enemy and not love. Love is natural and honest. Some people give up on love when they experience heartbreak once, but life is all about learning  and moving on.

    How To Practice Gratitude?

    • Writing down your feelings can help you know how grateful your life is and help you feel thankful. Write down all the positive and negative aspects of your life and read the positive one’s to yourself on a regular basis to feel the feeling of gratitude and appreciate life.

Knowing you are happy and when you are not can help you understand yourself. Keep the positive aspect in heart and make the negative ones positive.
    • Learn to express your feelings. And learn to say “thank you” a simple word can make all the difference.a simple sentence can make you from arrogant to appreciative. And help you get the respect you deserve.
    • One of the best ways to get a calm mind is to go for a walk in the environment or meditate. It is a portal for inner peace and helps you focus on what and who are important in life.

In further, better mental health leads to reduction of anxiety and depression. It also eliminates social anxiety leading to better sleep.
    • A good mind leads to better physical health. From a personal example, being grateful makes your physical health better. It makes you more active, makes your skin glow because a pure soul leads to pure life. It helps one eat better, make better life choices.

How Appreciating Small Things Make A difference

A positive outlook on life can make even a bad day good. When someone appreciates small things that shows that they have their life together and is overall a well being person and has a healthy outlook to life. They have a positive aura and people are attracted to them and trust them easily. When someone appreciates small things in life they tend to have a positive mindset in life. They have a better mental health and reduced stress level. They have a better outlook on life, and they find good in the bad. Let’s look into some of the ways one can learn to appreciate small things.

    • Love What You Have, Before Life Teaches You To Lov – Tymoff, wants to tell their audience that to learn how to love one needs to have a positive mindset and they need to practice to maintain a positive attitude towards things they generally dislike. To do this one can go for a walk barefoot in grass, hangout with friends, meditate and more.
    • Write it down, one of my personal favorite things to do, to feel lighter is to write down my thoughts. It makes my mental health better, gives me a second perspective and helps me navigate my rights and wrong.
    • Be free and feel free, live in the moment instead of being distracted in things you don’t have. Appreciate what you have, because someone may not even have that. Learn to be grateful for your things, your body, your mind and your soul.
    • This is one piece of advice I give to everyone whenever they feel down or unloved. Take a relaxing warm bath. A warm bath feels like a hug, a hug you may need when you feel low. I would also add in some “Happy Music” and avoid sad songs.

    Should One Wait For Love?

No one can force someone to love you. Love comes and goes naturally. Waiting for someone to love you is useless. Do not wait for love, learn to love yourself. Be your biggest cheerleader. It’s just you and yourself, at the end of the day. One needs to learn the art of self-love, one of the leading causes of depression is lack of self-love.

Feeling bummed out or low is quite common, this is your chance to go on  a journey of self- discovery. Learn what excites you. Learn to respect yourself and then love. Loving oneself can tell you how you want to be loved. You cannot expect someone else to love you if you don’t love yourself. One of the ways to love for yourself is to keep yourself away from toxic relationships that are mentally draining.

    Let’s Recap

One of the most thoughtful I read this year was Love What You Have, Before Life Teaches You To Lov – Tymoff and I totally get it now. I have always been a person who liked crowds but I realised that quality is more important than quantity. This year I have learned to love what I have, my parents, my loyal friends, my peers and my colleges. I love the trees I pass by everyday and the smell of wet soil during rain. Communicating my feelings is one of the most important things I learnt this year, as it makes my heart lighter and makes me feel a sense of community and belonging.
